The typical home in Smithfield sold for around $325,000 this fall—right about where prices have been all year. That’s good news for both buyers and sellers. Prices aren’t skyrocketing like they did a few years ago, but they also aren’t dropping, which means confidence in our local economy and neighborhoods remains strong.

On average, homes are on the market for about three weeks before they go under contract. That tells us that buyers are still out there and ready to move when they find the right fit.
